Book Pulled!

I wanted to begin by thanking you for your message. I was writing to let you know that Ms. Schrock is no longer one of our authors. Her children’s book, Hayseed’s First Race has been removed from our website, and will not be listed in our 2010-11 catalog. We have to keep up the website where kids can go and print out work sheets because the website is listed on the back of book and must remain available to those that have already purchsed the book. We will remove that particular site in the coming year.



We have spoken to our attorney and have been informed that we cannot tell Ms. Schrock to stop what she is doing. To do that would put us in a precarious position.



But, like I stated above, she is no longer one of our authors. We support horse rescues and have contributed finacially to the cause of a number of horse rescues. Sales from one of our books are even being donated to ReRun Inc. and Southern California Rescue. I hope that this helps to make clear where we stand on the courageous work done by horse rescue organizations. We appreciate the support of our patrons and hope that you will continue to support our efforts. If you would like to let others concerned with this issue know that Ms. Schrock is no longer one of our authors, please feel free to do so. We will be posting this fact on Facebook later this evening.
